Tuesday night brings a swift return to football down Selhurst Street, this time with Sandiacre Town the  visitors for our second game in 4 days. After the defeat at the weekend, the Pheasants will be keen to make up for lost time, though it would seem this season’s Saints’ team is a rather different prospect to the one we faced last time around. Pointless until the end of November, they eventually found form to finish 3rd bottom, enough to save their UCL place for another season. However, on Saturday they had a convincing 3-0 home victory over divisional new boys Pinchbeck United in their first match of the new season and so, will clearly be much trickier opposition. A great match beckons!
